“An array of sumptuousness cooked with love is food for the soul!”
Putting this idea into action, a fun-filled Food Fest was organized at Amrita Vidyalayam, Bhubaneswar on January 11, 2020 to inculcate the precious values of teamwork, creating with care and entrepreneurial skills in the students. The students showcased their signature dishes beautifully in a food court spread over a large area where 100 students from Std. V to Std. IX set up 30 stalls selling different food items like pav bhaji, pizza, vegetable soup, chaat, drinks, desserts, Vegetable Manchurian, cakes, sandwiches, momos, etc. The food fair which was designed and planned by Principal Ms. Mousumi Pattnaik and inaugurated by Ms. Rashika, an esteemed member of the School Managing Committee, became a unique experience for everyone. Art and Craft items and many interesting games were also arranged at the fair. The best quality food at highly affordable prices was a great attraction for the parents, students and teachers. A team of 20 teachers managed the event. All the students actively participated in the Food Fair and were profusely praised by the Principal, Management, teachers and parents.
