This year we celebrated Children’s Day with great enthusiasm and energetic performances by our teachers. The children thoroughly enjoyed the program. Later, a friendly cricket match was organised by students and teachers.
The function was inaugurated by Rajendra Sir and his chorus team comprising Madhuchanda Parida, Pranati Padhi, Nupur Srivastav, and others. The morning assembly was conducted by Ms Rupanwita Mishra and her team.
The cultural extravaganza started with a devotional dance performance by Mr Sanjit Pradhan to Ahe Nila Saila Bhajan. Then Dr Satya Swarup Bajpayee and his team presented a short skit on students’ behaviour in class. This was followed by a dance performance by Sasmita Patra, Kuntala Bhattacharya, Lakshmi Mohapatra, and Pranati Padhi, and a beautiful musical rendition by Partik Mishra and Santosh Kumar. Another dance performance was presented by Madhusmita Lenka, Bibhabati Pradhan, Anima Palei, Pravati Nayak, Supriya Priyadarshini and Susmita Routray. Children were given gifts and treated to masala buns as refreshment during the day. The whole event was anchored by Ms Bedamati Behera.
