Diwali is the festival of light as well as the victory of good over evil. At our school, we celebrated Diwali with much fanfare and gaiety. The guest of honour for the function, Bri. Vijayamrita Chaitanya explained the significance of Diwali to our students. The children decorated little earthen lamps and various Rangoli designs were made to commemorate the festival. The function was presided over by Brni. Biju, Ms. Mousumi Patnaik and Mrs. Sulekha Das. All the children partook the prasad at the end of the celebrations.
