The festival of lights and happiness, Diwali, was celebrated at our Amrita Vidyalayam on October 28, 2016 with much joy and excitement. The school lobby was decorated with beautiful rangolis, house-boards, colourful lanterns and lights.
The celebration commenced with the lighting of the diya followed by prayer. The Principal spoke briefly about the festival of Diwali, encouraging students to spread the message of love and brotherhood. Some of the students from classes IV, V, VI and VII also shared valuable information regarding this auspicious day.
