GANESH CHATURTHI

Students of our Amrita Vidyalayam celebrated GANESH PUJA in a unique way. It began with a devotional song by the students followed by the recital of a Sanskrit sloka. Our Sanskrit teacher, Sri Satyaswarup Bajpayee performed the pooja. He explained the significance of the festival to the students, narrating the story of the origin of Lord Ganesh. Students of Std. VI recited the Ganapathi Atharvashirsha Mantra.

 

A satsang by Swami Vijayamrita Chaitanyaji was also held at our school. Swamiji spent his valuable time with us leading prayers, chanting sacred hymns, and singing bhajans. At the end of the programme, prasad was distributed to all.
