The festival of Raksha Bandhan begins with an exchange of greetings. It entails applying of tilak, tying the ceremonial rakhi, offering sweets and exchange of sweets. This festival also epitomizes the sacred bondage that guarantees the purity and protection of siblings. Children of our nursery to UKG section celebrated the festival in their classrooms by tying rakhi to their classmates. The teachers helped them with the rituals associated with it.
