SARASWATI PUJA

On February 12, 2016, Saraswati Puja was celebrated at our school. Children along with their parents came to school to take the blessings of Mata Saraswati Devi. The children offered flowers while chanting the 108 names of Devi. Ms. Ruthika Chiplunkar spoke about the importance of the day, and explained why it is considered especially important for students. As it was a very auspicious occasion, some very small children had their Vidyarambham also on that day. Teachers performed Aarti to Ma Saraswati Devi. Breaking of coconuts which is considered to be very auspicious was done by the student themselves after the puja. Devi puja and homam were also performed, and the children went back home after receiving the prasad.
