The Saraswati Puja, a festival dedicated to the goddess of knowledge and wisdom, is one of the most eagerly anticipated events in our school’s annual calendar. This year, the enthusiasm among students and staff was palpable as we gathered to celebrate this auspicious occasion on 14th February. The arrangement of Saraswati Puja not only included traditional rituals and prayers, but also a plethora of other activities that made the day truly memorable. Saraswati Puja holds great significance in our school as it emphasizes the importance of education and the pursuit of knowledge. Students consider this day as an opportunity to seek the blessings of Goddess Saraswati, who is believed to bestow wisdom, learning, and artistic talents upon her devotees.
The day began with the traditional ‘Anjali,’ where students offered flowers, sweets, and their heartfelt prayers to the goddess. This ritual set the tone for the day, creating an atmosphere of reverence and devotion. Following the puja, the students expressed their devotion through speeches, bhajans and songs. Later, all present partook of prasad and enjoyed the day.
