Bhubaneswar, August 22: The students and staff of Amrita Vidyalayam, Janla, Bhubaneswar, celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi on the school campus with pomp and ceremony. Students and their parents witnessed this jubilation online.
Principal Ms. Mousumi Pattnaik, along with a handful of staff arranged everything for welcoming Ganapathi to the school premises, abiding by the government regulations during the COVID- 19 pandemic. The decorations were commendable although resources and availability of materials were restricted. The reverberations of Vedic Mantra chanting not only filled the campus, but also purified the atmosphere of every home that was connected to this festivity online. Hundreds of students with their family members partook in the flower offering with devotion, and felt blessed by Bighnaraj darshan virtually. A number of students shared videos of their celebrations at home. They had most innovatively designed idols and images of Gajanan with artistic flair that became the cynosure of all eyes.
