INTERNATIONAL LABOUR DAY

“All labour that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance.”

Today we observed International Labour Day at our school. Our non-teaching staff were felicitated on this occasion. The event was organised by the students of classes 10 and 12. The students presented a wonderful group song followed by a dance performance by Class 12 students. Our Principal spoke to the audience emphasising work culture and ethics. Shri Chaitanya Nath spoke about the importance of labour and its impact on modern society. Shri Tribikram Routray, Gardener spoke about his experience and was highly grateful for everything he had. The major attraction of the function was a tabla performance by our alumnus Master Sushovit Roul, who enthralled everyone with his talent, aided by our music teacher, Shri Rajendra Jena. The function ended with gift distribution to all the non-teaching staff.
